Functional Requirement


Purpose/WHY:

Need to exclude/include the following Retail and Intercompany customers from all BEx Queries:
1017049
1017054
1017055
1017056
1018680
1018681
1018682
1018689

In Scope:

Need to exclude new Japan Retail and Intercompany Customers 1017049, 1017054, 1017055, 1017056, 1018680,1018681, 1018682 & 1018689 from all the BEx queries in BPD(BW 7.3 Development) and transport the requests to BPQ & BPP.

Out of Scope:

None

Solution Summary


1. Create an open BEx transport request in BPD.
2. Exclude new Retail & Intercompany Customers for 0CUSTOMER (or) 0SOLD_TO info objects in the BEx filter section.
3. Collect all the queries for an infoprovider into one open transport request.
4. Transport it to BPQ for testing and move it to BPP after successful testing.
5. Need to exclude the above customers manually in OSA100 and OSA180 Global and regional reports.

Solution Details

1. Create an Open transport request in BPD(BW 7.3 Development).
2. Exclude new Retail & Intercompany Customers 1017049, 1017054, 1017055, 1017056, 1018680,1018681, 1018682 & 1018689 for 0CUSTOMER (or) 0SOLD_TO info objects in the BEx filter section.
3. Collect all the queries for an infoprovider into the open transport request.
4. Transport it to BPQ(BW 7.3 Quality) for testing and move it to BPP(BW 7.3 Production) after successful testing.
5. The list of all BEx Queries in which Japan Retail and Intercompany customers are excluded or included are attached here for reference:

Issues


1. Some of the BEx queries need the intercompany customers to be included as specified in the attached spreadsheet.
2. All Exclusions/Inclusions need to be manually updated to each BEx query and cannot be updated globally.
3. OSA100 and OSA180 reports need to be updated manually for customer exclusion.
